Dayoung Lobegeiger, Provisional Psychologist
Dayoung has completed a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology) and a Master of Psychology (Clinical). She is a Provisional Psychologist who is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and is a current Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society.
Dayoung has experience delivering individual and group therapy work overseas and in Australia, in both community and private settings. Dayoung aims to provide a gentle and supportive environment for therapy. She uses various therapy approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivation Interviewing, depending on her clients’ goals and needs.
Dayoung’s special interest areas include, but not limited to, depression, anxiety (e.g., generalised anxiety, social anxiety, specific phobia), stress, trauma-related issues, relationship difficulties and emotion regulation difficulties.
Dayoung is multilingual and able to offer services in English, Korean and Japanese.
